Yoga to chi up

As we grow older our muscles and tendons shorten.  Try  turning your hand over so your palm is facing upwards and then just relax it. Watch the way  fingers curl inwards towards the palms. Compare this to the hand of a child and then the hand of someone older than you

Today it was time to say goodbye to an old friend.  A tree that had stood between us and our neighbour was looking sickly and was facing the chop.  Hearing the wind whip through branches it reminds me of how as we all age, nothing is as flexible unless we work at it!  So now I am hitting the yoga mat, chop chop!
