Hot plants

Hot chilli plants growing in a kitchen window brightens the space and offers raw food to enjoy. Spice up a stir fry from this tiny plant.  Low maintenance (just add water) yields a bumper crop. Nutrients are at their maximum when the ingredients only have to travel from the plant to the chopping board. Chives, parsley or cress on blotting paper are even easier but the chilli packs a punch with a definite presence.
